How to Open or Change Bookable Hours for Special Dates i.e. Valentines

With Special Dates, you can change the bookable hours for any date/s that are different to your regular hours; be it for a one-off event on a day you're normally closed, or for a holiday period i.e. Winemakers Dinner, Summer Hours, Special Event

Learn how to create a New Rota, or Shift, and add to Special Dates in TMS Web and TMS Admin.


 TMS WEB:


1. In Menu, go to Availability (on left)
2. Go to Special Dates tab
3. Click + Add Special Date button (Bottom, Right)
4. Name the Special Date eg. "Xmas Dinner Only"
5. Add all hours that apply 
6. Click on the Calendar date/s to apply the Special Date/s hours
7. Click Save.
8. All done!

NB:  If you are open for Lunch and Dinner on a Special Date, you should Add a Special Date entry for each session. 


TMS ADMIN: 



Step One - Create New Rota:
1. Log in as Manager
2. Go to Menu
3. Select Opening Hours
4. Click 'New Rota' + give it a Name
5. Right click to add session/s
6. Add First and Last Booking time in session/s.
7. Save.

Step Two - Apply New Rota to Special date/s:
1. Click right in Special Dates to Add a Date
2. Choose date/s
3. Select the Rota you want to apply to date/s
4. Save
5. Save in Opening Hours
6. All done!

PRO TIP:
If creating a new rota for a one-off event, you can use the Online Message box to add details about your special event. If you only have one seating or set seating times ie. 6pm, 8.30pm etc you can layer in some booking restrictions so only those booking slots are available on that specific date.
